HONG KONG -- Foreign sales agent Fortissimo Films has picked up rights to "Gloss," a new satire by Russian helmer Andrei Konchalovsky.
Pic,
which had a market debut at the European Film Market in Berlin, will
receive a gala preem at next month's film festival in Hong Kong.
Fortissimo will handle rights outside Russia and France.
"The
film takes a Cinderella-esque story and interweaves it with a social
commentary on the modernization of the Russian economy," Fortissimo
said.
