Singaporean film, video and edutainment group Innoform Media has acquired Alliance Entertainment, one of the country's largest video distribbers.

Alliance's home entertainment labels include Warner Home Video, Twentieth Century Fox, New Line Cinema and indie suppliers.

"The business model we have created offers Alliance Entertainment and its wide array of content partners new distribution opportunities," Innoform CEO Ang  Choon said.

Alliance's managing director Tan Poh Lam will be CEO of the new Innoform subsidiary.

Acquisition prompts other exec reshuffles at Innoform. Angeline Ang becomes group president and will spearhead growth strategies that focus on revenue  and corporate improvements.

Lynn Loi has been upped to senior VP of program acquisitions and distribution. She will head InnoForm's content division, a role that includes managing investment and co-production across movies, TV drama and children's programming.
