HONG KONG - Asian films Friday took two of the top three prizes on offer
at the Int'l Film Festival Rotterdam.

and Liew Seng Tat's "Flower in the Pocket" picked up Tiger Awards from
the main competition section for first-time or sophomore helmers. The
other winner was Danish-made film "Go With Peace Jamal" by Omar
Shargawi. Prizes are worth Euros 15,000 ($21,500) and guarantee TV
broadcast on Netherlands pubcaster VPRO.
In the NETPAC section, which is only open to Asian movies,
winner was "What on Earth Have I Done Wrong?" by Niu Doze Chen-zer from Taiwan. Jury described it as "a debut film that

sensitivity and arrives at a profound insight into the human condition."
