HONG KONG — Power, the U.K.-based TV producer and distributor, has scored Asian license deals for its debut feature movie "Flood."

In Japan, Power inked an all-rights deal with Rentrak subsidiary CK Entertainment. In China, it signed with New View, which sets up a possible theatrical release through China Film and TV through CCTV6.

Elsewhere it was acquired by Korean cabler CJ Media, in Hong Kong by commercial net Television Broadcasts and in India by V Films. In Thailand, "Flood" secured a video release through J-Bics, while Ram Entertainment bought it for Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.

The disaster movie, which was made on a claimed budget of $30 million, was helmed by Tony Mitchell, and stars Robert Carlyle, David Suchet, Joanne Whalley and Tom Courtenay.

Power's new Asian sales head George Sakkalli also secured a Japanese pay TV deal with satcaster WOWOW for the political thriller "Archangel," a contempo miniseries co-produced in 2005 with the BBC and starring Daniel Craig.
